Oct. 19th: Twin Veil Paranormal

Trapped Souls Podcast welcomes Twin Veil Paranormal to the show!

They may be a newer group, but they are definitely not new to the paranormal. Stretched between two major rival cities—Cleveland and Pittsburgh—and operating in two states packed with haunted history, Twin Veil Paranormal hit the ground running with one goal in mind: finding answers to the unknown.

Cleveland and Pittsburgh may not agree on much, but when it comes to the paranormal, the rivalry gets put aside.

Join us as we talk about how Twin Veil came together, their experiences in the field, the locations they’ve investigated, and what drives them to keep searching for answers beyond the veil.

Oct. 22nd: Chumming with the Spirits

If you're into the paranormal and haven't been sleeping in a haunted, dark corner somewhere, then chances are you already know my next guests—Chumming with the Spirits.

They've become well known in the paranormal community for their personalities, their straight-up approach, and of course, their podcast. On this episode of Trapped Souls Podcast, we're going back to where it all started—how they got into the paranormal, how Chumming with the Spirits came together, and where they plan on taking things next.

One thing I already know: they don't plan on slowing down anytime soon. Join us as we talk paranormal, podcasting, investigations, and whatever else we stumble into along the way.

Discover Trapped Souls Podcast

Trapped Souls founder Ryan Pfeister has been investigating the paranormal since 2008, driven by a passion for uncovering the unknown while honoring the memories of those who came before us. In 2024, Ryan launched Trapped Souls, transforming years of investigative experience into a paranormal team and podcast dedicated to exploring the unexplained, preserving history, and sharing the stories that refuse to be forgotten.

As the host of the Trapped Souls Podcast, Ryan interviews paranormal investigators, authors, historians, location owners, researchers, and experiencers from around the world. His mission is simple: document compelling evidence, tell the stories behind haunted locations, and keep the memories of those who came before us alive.

In addition, Ryan is the creator and co-host of Beyond the Spirits, a collaborative podcast alongside Jim Simmons ('Nacho') of Verona Ghost Chasers and Travis and Justin of Southern Ohio Paranormal Society. Together, they interview some of the most influential voices in the paranormal field, providing a platform for investigators, researchers, innovators, and personalities who have helped shape the community.

Committed to strengthening relationships within the paranormal world, Ryan also founded the Beyond the Spirits Paranormal Group, a collaboration of multiple paranormal teams working together to investigate, document evidence, preserve history, and support one another. Built on the principle that 'Paraunity Still Exists,' the group strives to bring investigators together, promote collaboration over competition, and demonstrate what can be accomplished when the paranormal community works as one.

Known for his passion for EVP research and field investigations, Ryan has explored some of the most active and historically significant locations in the country, including Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum and Madison Seminary. These places continue to provide compelling experiences and opportunities to connect history with the unexplained.

Whether conducting paranormal investigations, hosting live podcasts, interviewing guests from around the globe, or speaking at events such as Cleveland ParaCon 2026, Ryan remains dedicated to one goal: seeking answers to life's greatest mysteries while preserving the stories and history that make every location unique.

'To uncover the truth, you must first accept the impossible.'

Why Trapped Souls Podcast?

At Trapped Souls Podcast, our goal isn't to tell you what to believe—it's to encourage critical thinking about the paranormal world around you. Ryan emphasizes that before we uncover answers, we must first ask better questions. The realm of the paranormal, filled with mysteries, theories, personal experiences, and unexplained phenomena, serves as a perfect backdrop for this inquiry. Rather than pushing a narrative or trying to sway anyone's beliefs, Trapped Souls fosters conversations that challenge assumptions and ignite curiosity.

In each episode, whether discussing ghosts, haunted locations, UFOs, cryptids, spirituality, history, or the unexplained, we feature insights from investigators, authors, researchers, and experiencers from around the globe, including perspectives shared at events like Cleveland ParaCon, where enthusiasts gather to delve into paranormal investigations.

If you tune in expecting definitive answers, you may leave with more questions than you arrived with—and that's precisely the intention.

Question what you know. Challenge what you believe. Explore the unknown. Because sometimes the journey to the truth begins with asking why.

Investigations

Madison Seminary Madison, Ohio

Old Hospital on College Hill Williamson, West Virginia

Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum Weston, West Virginia

My paranormal journey began at Madison Seminary in 2008, and since then, I have conducted several paranormal investigations there, totaling 16 times. It remains my favorite location to investigate, especially as I prepare for events like the Cleveland ParaCon and share my experiences on the Trapped Souls Podcast.

Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum Weston, West Virginia

Old Hospital on College Hill Williamson, West Virginia

Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum Weston, West Virginia

This is my second favorite place that I have investigated during my time at the Cleveland ParaCon. You can just feel the history and energy as you walk up to it, making it an intriguing spot for paranormal investigations. It’s also a topic I’ve discussed on my Trapped Souls Podcast, where we explore the fascinating world of trapped souls.

Old Hospital on College Hill Williamson, West Virginia

Old Hospital on College Hill Williamson, West Virginia

Even though I did not get much activity during my paranormal investigations, there is just something about old hospitals that draws me in. Perhaps it's because that is where life begins and where life ends, making them a fascinating topic for discussions like those on the Trapped Souls Podcast at events such as the Cleveland ParaCon.

Bihl Manor Fremont, Ohio

Hunters Tavern Rock Creek, Ohio

Old Hospital on College Hill Williamson, West Virginia

Bihl Manor continues to be one of my favorite places to investigate during events like the Cleveland ParaCon. For just being a house, it has such energy, making it a prime location for paranormal investigations. The stories of Trapped Souls echo through its halls, and I often find myself discussing these experiences on the Trapped Souls Podcast.

Bellaire House Bellaire, Ohio

Hunters Tavern Rock Creek, Ohio

Hunters Tavern Rock Creek, Ohio

Bellaire House was just one of those places that kept calling me back after our first paranormal investigation there. We all have one of those places, especially those of us who attend events like the Cleveland ParaCon or host shows like the Trapped Souls Podcast.

Hunters Tavern Rock Creek, Ohio

Hunters Tavern wraps up my top 6 for paranormal investigations. It's not widely known because it's typically not open for such inquiries. However, the owners invited us to come in and seek some answers, and we did just that. I'm looking forward to returning there soon, especially as I prepare for the upcoming Cleveland ParaCon and share more on the Trapped Souls Podcast.
